Purple Wedding: Journaling Card 05

Still our series of Journaling Card freebies, I would like to share these cards with you:

Tonight, I would like you to pause for a bit and reminisce about you, your own life, your own love. I know you will see that there were a lot of challenges in the past, but if you realize how they took  you to where you are right now, and I hope you are happy where you are right now, you will definitely say it is worth it. 😉

And if in case, you are not yet where you want to be yet, take heart. Pray. Then push and move forward. You will get there eventually.

And if by any chance, you feel tired, like you’re almost giving up, don’t! Keep silent for a bit. Rest. Re-charge. Then move forward again. Do not entertain negativity. Pray.

Sometimes, it is in silence that our hearts and minds get opened — to the realities of life, the lessons of the past, and the value of the present or the future that we so desire, that we realize, sometimes the road is long, but it is/will definitely be worth it.

Aja!

To God be the glory! 🙂

Purple Wedding: Journaling Card 03-04

Silly me, I missed a day. I was busy with work again, sorry. But to make up for lost time, err day, let’s hike up today’s entry to 2 sets journaling cards. Yeah. I am really passionate about this and I would like to stick to our timeline. :p

So without further ado, here you go!

I think of all the cards I’ve made for this event, these 2 sets, or quotes, are my favorite! It just says so much about how much a person should love, regardless of whatever challenges or trials or distance there may be.

Won’t you agree?

Well if you do, and you liked these, download and share away! 🙂

Purple Wedding: Journaling Card 02

Together.

Julia Roberts once said, “I believe that two people are connected at the heart, and it doesn’t matter what you do, or who you are or where you live; there are no boundaries or barriers if two people are destined to be together.”

And I believe in this too. As a matter of fact, our purple wedding is a testimony to that. Two hearts, although separated by land and seas, managed to one day meet, fall in love, and then the rest is history.

And you know what? That is how God loves us too! He is here, there and everywhere. Always at the company of His children. He is together with us, though we do not see Him physically. He is always with us, through thick and thin, for better or for worse; to help us get through the thin, and to help make our worse, better.

So if God, or even our couple, can love like that; the rest of us can too. So start now, and be the answer to the very timely question, “Where is the love?”

But before you go off showing that love somewhere, together, download the second batch of my journaling cards first!

Purple Wedding: Journaling Card 01

13 days to go….

My hands and my mind and my low EQ have been itching to share a lot of things with you, regarding the upcoming Purple Wedding I have been helping setup. No, it’s not Joffrey’s wedding, but my friends’ wedding.

But since I can’t and I won’t share much spoilers (since again, to me the privacy of such intimate occasions should be treated as delicate or fragile), I will share with you some of the cards I have created for the event. Crossing my fingers, that at least this much info is okay. haha. ^^v

I think I have created 12 sets and I will share 1-2 pieces with you each day, until the day before the big day itself.

Excited? I am!

So here’s the first batch – and you’ll know from it the theme of our purple wedding, though I will not say what it is (directly). Haha.

Sized at 4×6″, these cards were meant to be displayed on random places at the event alongside a gallery of wonderful couple pictures. But you may feel free to download them from here and use them for your Project Life and other journaling projects.

Simple Instructions:

1. Click on the photo you wish to download and use.

2. Right click then click on Save As and save it locally on your workstation/pc.

3. Open any picture editor/app, resize as desired (recommended sjze is 4×6) then print on same sized photo paper.

4. Feel free to insert print outs across your Project Life, Scrapbook or Journals.

Or even frame it just like this:

Thanks and much love! xoxo

How To: Pic Message via MS Word

As you would expect, this is another throwback. But for now, other than this paragraph, I will repost everything as is. Hihihi. So here goes:

Original Post Date: October 13, 2013

So I was preparing some tokens for Pastors Day and I found this verse that would be lovely for our lady pastor at church: http://www.creationswap.com/artwork/11/8/31/14573/11831_14573_5.jpg, by Megan Watson of thefreshfridge.com.

I really wanted to use the same format for our head Pastor but I couldn’t find a similar artwork or picture message so I decided I would create one.

It was my first time creating a picture message like this, and though I kinda “patterned” it against the former, I am quite happy with the results! 🙂

I am surprised that it is pretty easy to make. I’m sure you can create your own as well.

Simple instructions:
1. Open Microsoft WORD and set the Page Background to your desired texture or color.
2. Input the desired text, for starters, use just one font and color.
3. Randomly choose which words to alter font and color, add in clip arts as desired.
4. Then use a snipping tool to capture the screen and save it in file photo format.

If you are well versed in using photo-editing softwares like Photoshop, I’m sure this will be even easier for you.

To God be the glory! Happy Sunday!
